Discount Car Hire is a Scottish owned, family run business who have had their roots in the vehicle hire business for over 20 years. Read on... WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? All rates quoted include VAT (tax), comprehensive insurance and unlimited mileage. WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED? There is an option to purchase zero risk insurance which reduces your excess / liabilty to zero. Rates are from £5 per day. Fuel - vehicles are supplied on a low to low basis, i.e. you leave it the same way as you picked it up Delivery / collection - we offer FREE local delivery and collection. However, please note there may be a additional charge for evening arrivals between 6pm and midnight. This ranges from £15 - £25 and will be confirmed when we confirm your booking by email or phone. We will quote you in advance if you require delivery or collection anywhere else. WHO CAN DRIVE? / LICENCE DETAILS You must produce a full, valid driving license which you have held for one year at the time or rental. Overseas visitors must produce a license which is valid in their own country and, where appropriate, an international driving permint. Certain endorsements are accepted at the company's discretion. WHAT AGE ARE THE VEHICLES? Typically, our rental fleet ranges from 9-24 months old. All vehicles are fully serviced and checked before every hire. WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE A BREAKDOWN OR ACCIDENT? All vehicles have R.A.C. 24 hour cover. In the unlikely event of an accident or breakdown, please contact ourselves or the R.A.C directly. |
